The City of Bruges selected CIT Blaton's Design & Build project for BRUSK, its new contemporary art museum. The building consists of two spacious exhibition halls with large north-facing glass walls. They rise from the first level which houses the reception lobby, as well as conference and catering amenities. The whole roof is covered with textured glass tiles which generate electricity and supply the building with sustainable energy. As a result, BRUSK uses half the energy required under the Nearly Zero Energy (NZE) standard currently in force.
